First Night
Simon Gray is also the musical director of the cabaret group First Night, a close-harmony cabaret group specialising in quality musical entertainment for a large variety of venues and functions, with an extensive repertoire of material from stage and screen musicals old and new, through opera and jazz.
Artists who appear with First Night have starred in the West End, toured with opera companies and between them have notched up stage appearances that number well into the thousands. There are members of First Night currently appearing, or who have recently appeared in Les Miserables, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company and with English Festival Opera.
